A Rainy Day #RVA

I had my eye on this bridge for quite some time. Rick Kidd beat me to it and took a gorgeous shot of it. This is 1 of 2 versions I plan on doing. This one I think depicts today quite well. Thanks to Rick Young for telling me how to get down there.

Glacial puddle reflection #colorado #RVA

When I was in Colorado I saw this reflection in this puddle/mini pond. I immediately started to take pictures, then a tourist came along and I was like YES! Her friends told her to get out of the way but I secretly wanted to keep her in the picture.

To the Bottom and Back -In- Black and White - Unedited #RVA

I woke up feeling sick today which wasn't very pleasant. Unfortunately the night before I was unable to acquire some tobacco products. I ended up walking to CVS in the Bottom from where I live and documented the way with photos. I haven't edited these photos at all. I had my camera on custom setting B which is high contrast black and white.

Hampton Roads Police Sniper Rifle #RVA

Apparently the Hampton Roads Police have 2....yes 2... .50 Caliber sniper rifles. As well as a silenced M16 sniper rifle and a M4 sniper rifle. Now if anyone knows how powerful a .50 caliber sniper rifle is they will be asking themselves....why? While I was both in awe and confused...it still is a remarkable weapon. A rifle that can shoot 2 miles away, shoot through an engine block and blow a hole in a person's torso the side of a basketball. Quite amazing for military but what is the purpose of the civilian application?
