Triumph #Colorado

The 2 weathered faces of #Colorado -

In the summer, Colorado as well as the rest of the Rockies including Wyoming are known for fast moving weather. One minute it can be beautiful and sunny; the next it can be a tremendous thunderstorm. If you are hiking mountains or hiking in general it is very wise to go early in the morning. Colorado afternoons are notorious for having rain, sleet, lightning and thunder. Proceed with caution.

On the way up to Mt. Evans you will drive past this beautiful lake. It is called Echo Lake. If you ever get a chance to drop by here do. It's well worth the stop.

Lightning Strike!

I waited nearly an hour for the same storm that hit Richmond to make it's way to Va Beach. When it finally came it skirted southeast of where I was.
